We have an exciting opportunity a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to support the success of our European transformation journey at LKQ Europe.

 

Acting as the crucial link between planning, commercial, procurement, category management and finance functions, this role will drive strategic and tactical alignment and ensure a seamless integration of demand and supply planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the S&OP Manager will be committed to keeping deliverables on track and will utilize outstanding communication skills to relay important business decisions to senior stakeholders.

 

  • Driving the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring an integrated approach to demand and supply planning and coordinating a cross-functional European and regional team
  • Establishing a highly collaborative work environment involving regional stakeholders and European leaders
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on S&OP strategies and performance
  • Initiating and overseeing improvement projects to increase the effectiveness of the S&OP process and acting as key player in the extension of the S&OP process to other regions
  • Maintaining a forward-looking approach, anticipating future challenges and opportunities
  • Providing input and expertise for the S&OP related areas in implementing an advance planning solution as part of the end-to-end transformation program.

Skills and Experience

  • Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in supply chain (SC) with at least 5 years in SC planning – prior experience in S&OP is essential
  • Experience working within a matrix organization
  • Business intelligence reporting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized and patient.
