Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering financial insights to influence strategic decisions

Collaborate cross-functionally on long-term planning, business strategies, and investment decisions

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes for logistics and group operations

Develop robust KPIs and financial models to support operational and strategic decisions

Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance commentary, highlighting risks and opportunities

Manage and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners and Analysts

Set clear objectives, provide coaching, and support career development

Ensure consistent delivery of value-adding financial insight across the organisation

Drive inventory accuracy, optimisation, and working capital efficiency

Support business case development and ROI analysis for key investments

Champion best practices in stock management and demand planning

Lead cost-to-serve analysis and financial modelling to support logistics and automation investments

Monitor efficiency and productivity KPIs, ensuring cost control and financial accountability

Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance, and support audit processes

Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, reporting, and tools
Skills and Experience

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Strong experience in finance business partnering, preferably in logistics or supply chain.

Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience influencing senior stakeholders.

Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong knowledge of inventory and working capital optimisation.

Experience working in a complex, matrixed, and fast-paced business environment.
