Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational and departmental leaders to provide financial support and challenge.
- Produce insightful financial analysis, forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Monitor financial performance and identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
- Drive accountability for budget ownership across the business.
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and maximise profitability.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for designated business areas.
- Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
- Present financial information to stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement projects and process enhancements.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar commercial finance role.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Experience producing budgets, forecasts, and management information.
- Ability to build credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems.
Desirable
- Experience within the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools.
- Experience leading finance improvement projects.
