Job Overview
The Senior Finance Business partner is an integral part of our Logistics Leadership Team and reports into the Head of Finance for Logistics. This is a high-profile role partnering with senior operational leaders to drive financial performance, improve Logistics & Transport efficiency, and support strategic decision-making across logistics, warehousing, procurement, and distribution.
The position plays a pivotal role in identifying opportunities to reduce costs & optimise working capital, and influence investment decisions. Ideally the candidate will have deep experience in Finance Business Partnering with extensive experience supporting logistics, supply chain or manufacturing operations..

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with COO and Senior Leaders across Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport.
- One direct Report, to develop and mentor.
- Support Head of Logistics & Operations.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting
- Provide commercial insight into transport, warehousing and distribution costs.
- Drive productivity initiatives and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Develop robust financial models and business cases to support capital investment decisions.
- Analyse operational KPIs including:
- Cost per delivery/ Case
- Warehouse productivity
- Inventory performance
- Freight costs
- Influence decision making using data-driven insights.
- Oversee month-end performance reviews, variance analysis.
- Lead on executive reporting.
- Over-see USGAAP reporting, and make sure compliance is followed.
Skills and Experience
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Significant experience in Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and challenging operational decisions.
- Strong commercial mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Advanced Excel and experience using ERP systems
- Experience leading finance transformation projects.
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on commercial delivery.
- Ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights.
- Knowledge of SOX ( Sarbanes-Oxley) controls & compliance favourable
