Key responsibilities

•    Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth.
•    Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
•    Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and competitors.
•    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of strategies.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
•    Lead and motivate a team to achieve commercial targets.
•    Develop and implement effective sales and pricing strategies.
•    Monitor KPIs, report results, and recommend improvements.
•    Present business cases and updates to senior management.
•    Represent LKQ at industry events.

•    Proven experience in business development – from strategy creation to operational execution, with a focus on driving customer-focused growth.
•    Solid understanding of the automotive industry – experience in the commercial vehicle sector is a strong advantage.
•    Excellent sales and negotiation skills – capable of building long-term customer relationships and successfully closing deals.
•    Strong leadership qualities – able to inspire, coach, and lead a team towards achieving ambitious goals.
•    Strategic and analytical thinker – quick to identify opportunities, solve challenges creatively, and drive innovation.
