Rhiag Group, part of LKQ Corporation (Nasdaq: LKQ), a Fortune 500 company, is an international group and a leading player in Europe in the distribution and sale of spare parts for cars and industrial vehicles in the independent aftermarket sector.

 

Rhiag Group Italia is looking for a European Market Intelligence Manager.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities within their area of competence:

• Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market conditions, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Analyse macroeconomie factors, emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting the automotive aftermarket.
• Generate relevant and actionable insights from market data to inform business decisions.
• Monitor and evaluate competitor strategies and create detailed competitor profiles to understand competitive positioning.
• Collect, Synthesise and present data from various sources both internal and external to support business strategies.
• Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams both at a European and regional level to align strategies with market insights.
• Serve as a subjcct matter expert and advisor to senior leadership on market dynamics.
• Work with external agencies and industry associations to commission studies and validate market hypotheses/methodologies.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate/Diploma/Professional Degree in Market Research or equivalent.
• 3-5 years' relevant work experience within market intelligence functions 
• Previous experience from management consulting backgrounds, such as McKinsey, BCG, or Bain would be desirable.
• Strong research capabilities.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, and a passion for learning new quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills, including listening, negotiation and persuasion.
• Creative and innovative with a strong eye for detail.
• Strong team player.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for uncovering and leveraging market trends.
