Job Overview

To lead and the Leisure & Marine sales team to deliver improved result, managing the strategic direction of the LKQ L&M sales organisation. The role is responsible for all commercial activities and setting both short- and long-term sales strategies to ensure that the Group is maximising all sales opportunities. This role will play an active role in determining optimal pricing, identifying, and utilising customer leverage and exceeding revenue and profit targets, without compromising customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Group Business Director, the Head of Sales will work as part of the LKQ Leisure & Marine senior leadership team to create, develop, and drive high sales performance and customer standards which link to the organisation’s strategy and plan, ultimately delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for all sales operations across the division
  • Develop and implement sales and commercial strategies to accelerate growth, develop and implement agreed pricing strategies
  • Develop account management strategies including training to ensure that all opportunities are leveraged, and customer satisfaction remains high
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the sales activities, using key metrics to drive high levels of sales performance
  • Analyse and optimise the sales team’s effectiveness
  • Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop, and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment within the Group
  • Manage commercial support relationships, with key suppliers 
  • Play a key role in identifying new product opportunities
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
