Are you a creative and strategic communicator ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a Communications Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover, starting in August.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the development and delivery of innovative, engaging communications for both internal and external audiences.

Working as part of LKQ Europe’s communications team, this role proactively supports key functional teams and senior stakeholders within the business and utilizes prior experience and expertise to execute strategies across a complex organizational structure.

Proven experience of delivering high impact employee engagement initiatives across diverse audiences to drive understanding, sentiment, and behaviour will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing, creating and managing internal and external communications planning and execution for key communications and business project/s
  • Delivering creative, innovative, engaging and re-usable ways of engaging communications using written and digital techniques
  • Proactively supporting and collaborating with key functional teams and senior stakeholders within the business
  • Being a part of a high performing team – as a member of the key project/ functional team/s, as well as being a key member of the LKQ Europe Communications team
  • Acting as a business partner for key functions and ambassador for functional excellence as part of the European Communications team 

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant studies/degree/qualification ideally with a specialization in communication or in a related field. Change management experience would be ideal.
  • International working experience in a Communications team
  • Experience in internal and external communications in fast moving and complex organisations.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to translate complex content and topics into engaging messaging that is tailored to different audiences
  • Creativity, innovation ability, passion and work motivation in the ever-changing business and communications environment
