The Fleet Sales Manager is a senior-level, strategic role responsible for driving the growth, execution, and operational excellence of the GHFT & 1TEC Fleet programme.This role serves as a key interface between internal stakeholders, fleet customers, and the national garage network, ensuring that all elements of fleet service delivery, network performance, and business development are aligned with commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Strategy - Lead and support fleet SMR (Service, Maintenance, and Repair) sales initiatives to secure new SME fleet business opportunities.  Work alongside senior leadership in major fleet sales pitches and relationship development.  Serve as a key contributor in strategic planning and sales forecasting for the fleet programme. Champion the GHFT & 1TEC Fleet value proposition to fleet customers and prospects.
  • Network & Operational Management - Manage garage network recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing performance auditing using Account Managers and other tools.  Ensure operational compliance and network adherence to service standards, policies, and processes.  Act as primary escalation point for network issues, aligning with regional managers and support roles as needed.
  • Fleet Account & Relationship Management - Serve as the first point of contact for all operational fleet matters, ensuring a responsive and professional customer experience.  Support account reviews, performance updates, and relationship meetings with fleet customers.  Deliver consistent service-level reporting and ensure issues are identified, escalated, and resolved effectively.
  • Programme Execution & Governance - Manage the day-to-day execution of the GHFT & 1TEC Fleet programme, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and operations.  Drive budget performance tracking, reporting on commercial KPIs and share-of-wallet metrics.  Ensure all transaction and reporting mechanisms (e.g., Garage Hive & LKQ rebate reporting) are functioning and maintained.  Support or lead monthly senior review sessions with stakeholders to provide insight, updates, and improvement recommendations.
  • Cross-functional Leadership & Internal Coordination - Act as a senior business manager for the GHFT & 1TEC Fleet programme, coordinating between GHFT, “The Fleet Guy,” LKQ management, and CAMs across both divisions. Lead or support internal communications and activity planning across the garage network, digital support, and account management teams. Ensure CAM alignment and effectiveness in delivering against operational targets.
