Job Overview

As a Paint Technician for LKQ Euro Car Parts you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards, working as a member of a highly effective and efficient team and maximising customer focused excellence at every opportunity.
 

Working as part of the Ireland branch team and reporting to the Management Team, this role will be focused on ensuring our delivery of our customer promise – every single time. Our team of Paint Technicians are a fundamental part in helping us develop and drive high branch performance and operational standards which link to the organisation’s strategy and plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve paint colour orders from email.
• Prioritize orders according to dispatch urgency.
• Mix components according to the required formulation, ensuring accuracy to the tenth of a gram.
• Record all mixing activities in the log.
• Label containers appropriately.
• Dispatch the mixed paint to the proper destination.
• Prepare samples by cleaning and polishing to ensure precise colour reading.
• Ensure that a formula is available.

Skills and Experience

• The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual capable of prioritizing their workload and following structured procedures.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, and knowledge and experience in paint mixing are essential.
• Fluency in English is required.
