Job Overview

As a Regional Account Manager, you will be accountable for coaching and developing a team of field sales professionals across multiple regions throughout the branch network. Reporting to the Divisional Account Manager, you and your team you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service across our branch networks customer base whilst identifying growth potential of specific channels. You will have access to an extensive toolbox to help you develop business as well as support from Head Office, Regional Managers and support functions to help you grow our customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of XX direct reports, coaching, supporting and developing their skills
  • Identify strong leads and opportunities for all LKQ Euro Car Parts channels
  • Ensure collaborative working across the field based Account Managers and the branch network to identify existing, lapsed and new business opportunities
  • Hold regular reviews with the branch management team with a focus on monthly sales, margin and credits
  • Identify key customers to attend our various Loyalty Events across your region, work closely with the Events team and attend the events to network further
  • Hold regular customer review meetings to develop relationships and understanding of the market
  • Hold regular team reviews to identify any on going training needs
  • Play a pivotal role in the Sales Excellence Team

Skills and Experience

  • Experience leading a team of successful field based sales professionals
  • Knowledge of the automotive aftersales market
  • Ability to identify opportunities to develop the team and nurture them through training programmes
  • Have been a trusted advisor to large customers in previous roles
  • Be an excellent communicator with both internal stakeholders and key customers
  • Ability to manage and drive a sales pipeline
  • Be a positive role model
  • Have excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to use data to drive performance
  • Have the will to win and ability to encourage that same passion in others
